Distance Traveled, Crazy Hat, Funniest Name, Longest Ears, Best Costume and…

“Best Basset Photo” For this
contest, bring a photo of your Basset(s), no bigger than 4x6in.
The crowd will vote for our winner!!!
Limit of 1 photo entry per Basset at registration table, 1 vote per
registered Basset (voting ticket in registration packet).
Award ribbons, plus piñatas of doggie goodies are awarded for all event
winners!
2008
King & Queen will be crowned at finale – CUTE sombrero & poncho
costumes for our new royalty!
We are also putting together some GREAT raffles and new t-shirts,
similar to
picture above. Tuck away some extra pesos to spend!
Hot red pepper laughs for humans are always
FREE
!
To participate in this “Basset
Blast Ole'” humans need only donate $10.00
per Basset IF you pre-register OR
$15.00
if you register at the event.
PLUS
there will be an exclusive” raffle for all pre-registered
Bassets! No charge for humans
performing with their Bassets. Senores
& Senioritis put this event on your calendars!
*
ALL
proceeds go directly to the Basset Rescue program *
Contestants
must be Basset Hounds or Basset Mixes, no Mastiffs disguised as
Bassets!
Since event takes place in
the grass, please bring a blanket for your low rider (or sit on w/houndy
in your lap).
For health reasons,
no puppies less than 4 months allowed.
Dogs in county parks must be leashed and please scoop their
poop (free bags furnished at the registration desk).

Sullivan Park
is on
N Sullivan Rd
, just across the river, north of Spokane Valley Mall - tons of great
parking!
*Rain or Shine* In case of rain we’re
working on a warehouse location (with enough parking available).
As Basset Blast approaches think sunshine! If we don't have
“south of the border sun”, we’ll post on the WABR website and in our
online newsletter about the new alternate location.

11:00am - 12:00pm
