Fate - Hound

Fate has been adopted!
Andie adopted Sammy a 3 year old bloodhound.  Andie is going to have some fun, slimming Sammy down.  No more MacDonald's hamburger for Sammy for a while.  Andie has a big fenced yard, so Sammy can get some much needed exercise.  Andie's dream is to train Sammy for rescue.  Andie plays rugby, so she is in condition to run with this wonderful girl.  Sammy has the sniffer, so if trained it will be fun to watch this pair.  Andie is the manager of a feed store, so she knows just to food to slim this girl down.
--------------
Andie, who adopted the Bloodhound, Sammy, had to come up with a new name for Sammy as she has a Border Collie named Sammy. Bitter Root MT shelter last Tuesday called me to tell me about a Basset and a Bloodhound that had been turned into the shelter. (I was in stress over load with Basset Blast coming up in 4 days and said that I would take both hounds _ Fate.) I called PAWS Across the Northwest to see if they could help with the transport from Hamilton, MT to Spokane. I stopped at a Feed Store I'm in all the time for the last 7 years. Andie the manager, asked me if I ever got Bloodhounds or knew of anyone that rescued them, as she had been looking for a while - Fate. We discussed why she asked me today instead of long ago - Fate. When I got home I checked my email if anything was happening on the transport (it can take days to a week to fill in all the legs on the run). Three wonderful ladies had filled all the legs on the run all the way to Post Falls - Fate). Andie renamed her Fate. They love each other.
