Earl and his sister fell in love with Sam when they saw him at Petsmart, but needed time to think it over. It only took them long enough for Sam and I to get home to make up their minds. They came over for Sam, but as they were playing with the other bassets and hearing their stories they kept asking me about Moses. I explained the Moses was probably about 12 years old, he had been dumped at a shelter in Boise, ID. I told them he would probably live out his life here. They decided that Moses was designed to come live with them. They have 5 wonderful areas to go for walks on and someone is home 24 hours a day. They found basset heaven on earth. Sam is one sweet boy. Sam would stay under your hand all day long to get loving. Sam is probably 5 years old, just the right age for cuddling, going for walks, and spending time with a loving family. Sam came from the Ritzville Shelter as a stray. He must have been on the road for a while as he was filthy. He is so pleased to be inside and warm and loves getting some good food. He is a real charmer.
