ADOPTED! Sally came looking for just the right basset who would love her and fit into her family. Elly was the one. Sally husband did not come with her, when she took Elly home Elly found him on the couch and jumped up for loves. Sally wanted and walking buddy, and Elly loves to go for their walks. Elly was not going to be allowed on the bed, she has worked her basset magic and now even has stairs up to the bed. Elly was a stray picked up by SCRAPS, full of fleas. She is now "bug free", healthy. Our guess is she is around 6 years old. House trained, great on a leash, loves the doggy door, great with the other bassets. I don't have cats, so can't tell you about that. You must have a fenced yard.
