Prince Louie Basset Hound

Our trip home was long but a good one. The little Prince has yet to have any accidents in the house or vehicles.  He is so easy to read.  He talks when he wants to potty.  He is a VERY quick study.

Mickey was so excited about Louie getting home that he kept calling me every 1/2 hour asking where we were on the road.  (I guess it is the stay at home version of are we there yet.)  Anyway, Mick and Louie bonded instantly.  As we knew they would.

Charlie and Louie are inseparable. Charlie and Louie walk around together, nap together, patrol the yard together.  Charlie even cleans Louie.  Louie is definitely Charlie's Mimi Me.  What a beautiful loving pair they are.  Charlie immediately assumed that Louie was his boy.

The cat, however, has yet to let Louie closer that a couple of feet.  He will come around in the next day or so.  Then the game of tag will be on.  Our cat, Paddy,  loves to play tag with the dogs.  It will just be a matter of days and they will be chasing each other around the house and yard playing.
