Tiny Basset Hound

Adopted!!!

Just wanted to let you know we made it home ok. Ricky was a love and didn't cause any problems on the car ride home. When we got here it took all of
them a little time to sniff and decide if they were going to get along.
Ringo (our lab) and Ricky hit it off right away. It took a little longer for Lucy to warm up to him and him to her. Today they have been playing and
wrestling like long time pals. We gave Ricky a bath today and he did great!
For breakfast I made him some of his dry food with brown rice, chicken, peas and carrots. For being such good dogs I gave each one a big old knuckle bone
from the butcher. I haven't heard a word from them since. This afternoon we will be going on our walk around the lake. He hasn't had any accidents in
the house so far. The only little quirk I've noticed is that he lifts the toilet seat himself to try and get a drink. You would think with 3 bowls of water he would figure out that those are better. ;-) So, now we keep the  bathroom doors closed.
Tiny is a sweet, darling little guy. He was a outside boy, who is totally enjoying inside living. He is using the doggy door for his business, except for the potted plant on the floor (working on that). Tiny love attention (he making up for all the attention he missed out on).
