Silly Bernard is now a household fixture  in Trisha and Harold's home with Justin to handle in everyday play and activity needs.  What a lucky dog.  


Bernard is one big happy guy. Play, play, play is the name of the game. He uses the doggie door. He has some house manners to learn, like not jumping up on you - reason for not with younger children. Love to play chase. When he hears the bowls being filled for meals, he reminds you verbally that he is ready.

You must have a securely fenced yard.

Please complete an Adoption Application found on www.wabr.net. We use the Adoption Application to match bassets with the right family.

Because we do not have any "real" history on the basset rescues we DO NOT place with families with children under 6 years of age. This is for your child's protection.

If you do not live in the Spokane area, transportation is at your expense.

Adoption fee ($125), which barely covers S/N, immunizations and micro chips.

Bernard is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
