Just wanted to send you a quick update and some pictures of Duke! Even though it has only been 3 days, he has settled right into our house and our hearts. He absolutely adores my son, Zack, and has officially taken over his bed, forcing Zack to sleep on his futon. Zack says he snores really loud. ;o) My other dog, Roscoe, is slowly getting used to a new family member that has A LOT more energy than Elmer every had and Duke keeps him on his toes. We are trying to teach Roscoe how to share his toys, which he is very hesitant to do. Elmer never cared much for playing ball, but Duke gives Roscoe a run for his money every time the ball is thrown. They both love to go on walks and Duke likes to bark at everyone he passes! Our Bunny, Louie, could care less that there is a new dog in the house. Duke tried to approach and possibly “play” with Louie, who quickly swatted him on the nose. Now Duke is a little bit nervous to approach the bunny, which is a good thing. I think they will cohabitate well together in the long run. We are so in Love with Duke and I think he has decided to keep us, too! Below are some pictures for your entertainment!!
