maisy the Basset Hound

HAPPY HOME!
Diana saw Maisy's picture on the site and let me know she was coming for her in 10 days.  I told Maisy, she had a home and Diana was coming.  Silly Maisy seemed to know someone great was coming for her, as she checked out everyone that came over to see if they were the one.  Diana came from the coast.  They have 2 bassets a 10 year old and Huxley a 8 year old, plus a 3 year old standard Doxie.
Maisy moved in, gathered toys and chew bones on her bed and decided this was her new home and by golly this was great.  With the 3 males, she is the princess.  Being a breeder, Maisy never had a puppyhood, so she is making up and totally enjoying life.   Thank you Diana and Tina, as you know Maisy has a special place in my heart.

I adopted Maisy from the rescue a year go. She has come a long way. She is shy at first but once she warms up to you she expects lots of attention. I have house trained her and she is not afraid of the crate she sleeps in it when she gets tired of her other bed. I am in a situation where I just don't have enough time  or resources to keep up with two bassetts. I want to find her a nice loving home, if you are interested please contact Pat at the rescue.

Because we do not have any "real" history on the basset rescues we DO NOT place with families with children under 6 years of age. This is for your
child's protection.

If you do not live in the Spokane area, transportation IS at your expense.

Adoption fee ($125) barely covers S/N, immunizations, and microchip. Senior bassets cost is reduced.
