penny Basset Hound

HAPPY HOME!
Penny is thriving in her new home.  She has 2 brother bassets to play with.  She has gained 5 pounds, is getting her strength back and is letting out her puppyness.  Penny was the rack of bones little girl found wandering in the forest.  In a few more months I won't even recognize her.  Way to go Penny and thank you Aaron and Beth.

 

Penny just came in today (22 Dec). A wonderful family up in the woods by Loon Lake found her. She has somehow survived the cold and the woods. She had porcupine quills, and as you can see a walking skeleton. She is eating/drinking and enjoying sleeping on a warm bed. We will update her pictures as she heals and gains some weight. She is a sweetie and a survivor. Will let you know when she is available for adoption.

You must have a securely fenced yard.

Please complete an Adoption Application found on www.wabr.net. We use the Adoption Application to match bassets with the right family.

Because we do not have any "real" history on the basset rescues we DO NOT place with families with children under 6 years of age. This is for your child's protection.

If you do not live in the Spokane area, transportation is at your expense.

Adoption fee ($125), which barely covers S/N, immunizations and micro chips.

This pet is up to date with routine shots.

This pet is already house trained.
