Murphy was very special. She was the top babe here! She welcomed all
new rescues calmly and kindly. I'd bring in a young boy and the next
few days you would hear her little feet clicking. You would look and she
would be flashing her butt in the new boys face - Hussy! She and I did
Obedience and the basset Agility course. On down/stay, she would
down/stay as long as I was facing her, but when I was suppose to turn
and walk away, after I was 20 feet away, she would start this very slow
Indian crawl (never breaking her down) (giggle)! On Agility she would
go thru the course ONCE, perfect. If asked to go thru it again, she
would stop somewhere (even board walk), lay down and give that
wonderful basset look "Didn't you watch last time?" She turned 15 on
the 18th of Feb. She made friends with everyone, so I'm sure she is up
there sharing her love, cleaning faces and dancing for the boys.
